As I mentioned earlier, life is simple here, and the “important things” are provided by the French Government.
In simple terms: That means ALL the infrastructure!
They provide the roads, the water, and the electrical power. They also provide "free" healthcare and a good education.
But the greatest joy, of these islands, is its simplicity and stress free lifestyle.
It was great to just drive around, see the sights, swim, and take in the skylines.
The other modes of transportation are bike, scooter, le truck, and outrigger canoe.
Here are a few of the things we saw while driving the perimeter of the many islands.

Your photos are simply marvelous. And I am grateful for the modern technology that allows all of us to travel along with you ! Great fun.
My niece, Christy from Annapolis, had a wonderful opportunity like this several years ago.
Living all her life on the water in Annapolis, she is as home under the water as on top! She was invited to take part in a "Blue Water Yacht" sailing that would go all around the world, and last 2 years. She was part of the crew on a 46' yacht which left England and she met it in Norfolk, and then they sailed down to Antigua where they picked up the rest of the group, went thru the Panama Canal, Galapagos, headed out the Pacific to Fiji, Tahiti, and all those marvelous islands. She left the group in Australia when she got word her mom, Donna, had been diagnosed with breast cancer and Christy flew home, and has remained here. She loved the sailing, and she had similar wonderful things to say about the island people and their lifestyle. She would take that in a minute !
